Pages 1-2 provide detailed materials cost and labor to dig a borehole, install pump, etc. and get clean water up ground @ N598,950 (ca. $5445); page 3 is materials and labor quotation for construction of overhead tank stand @ N348,280 (ca. $3,166, see pictures); page 4 is materials and labor cost to provide overhead tanks, tap valves, and water distribution points @ N159,750 (ca. 1,452, see picture); and page 5 is summary of costs @ N1,106,980 (ca. $10,063).
In some locations, potable electric power and fence would also be required. Pages 6 and 7 are materials and labor costs for power generating set, generator house and fencing @ N247, 050 and N158,000.
At the present time, we would want to concentrate with communities/locations where we only need to do the borehole, tank/tank stand and reticulation. Eventually, we would be able to generate community participation in building power house and/or fence, or possibly provide electric generating sets.
